The 2008 Wonderfest Festival of Science will take place at both Stanford and UC Berkeley featuring a weekend full of public lectures about drug companies, DNA, infectious diseases, nanoscience, climate change, future of the Universe, and human behavior. The event also includes the WonderCup Challenge Campionship where the top two high school teams will face off in a science competition. In addition, the Carl Sagan Prize for Science Popularization will be awarded to a researcher who has made outstanding strides in popularizing science. Wonderfest is free and open to the public. So bring the whole family!
