The Michele R. Clayman Institute for Gender Research is an interdisciplinary center at Stanford focusing on women and gender in science, engineering, technology, mathematics, and business. The Institute's researchers conduct studies on the participation of girls and women in STEM fields and business, offers fellowships for visiting faculty and graduate students doing dissertation research on gender studies, and hosts scholarly as well as public events that promote a better understanding of gender issues in science, technology, and the workplace.
