SEED is a Stanford student organization dedicated to sharing our enthusiasm about natural science with the youth of East Palo Alto through hands-on lessons. We hope to help the children open their eyes to the world in which they live. SEED puts a strong emphasis upon environmental science to educate, rather than instill fear in the students. SEED is only a 3 - 5 hour commitment each week. Stanford student volunteers work in groups of 3 or 4 in your adopted class of 20+ Elementary School students.
