ReNUWIt's Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program
The Engineering Research Center (ERC) for Re-Inventing the Nation’s Urban Water Infrastructure (ReNUWIt) has several paid undergraduate research positions available. ReNUWIt’s Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program engages undergraduate students in ReNUWIt faculty’s research labs, under the mentorship of ReNUWIt post-docs and graduate students. Participants learn laboratory/field techniques, are immersed in ReNUWIt’s collaborative and interdisciplinary culture, and conduct meaningful research in state-of-the-art facilities. REU participants also interact directly with ReNUWIt faculty and peers, receive professional development training, and experience ReNUWIt’s systems-level approach to addressing the nation’s water issues. Additional program requirements include meetings, oral presentations, a short written report, and summary slides and/or posters.
Partner institutions include Colorado School of Mines, New Mexico State, Berkeley and Stanford. Dates vary by campus.
