Stanford High School Summer College
High School Summer College participants enroll as visiting undergraduates in Stanford’s Summer Quarter and take the same courses as matriculated Stanford students taught by Stanford faculty. Students interact with peers from across the U.S. and around the world, and have ample opportunity to explore the unique recreational activities available on campus and in the culturally rich San Francisco Bay Area. Through embracing a diversity of socioeconomic, cultural, and racial backgrounds, Summer College creates an inclusive community of learning where students are challenged to reach their fullest potential—while at Stanford and beyond.
Tuition is charged but the Stanford Horizon Scholars Program offers up to 15 low-income, high-achieving Bay Area high school students the opportunity to attend High School Summer College at little to no cost.
