Carnegie Summer Internship in Plant Biology
The Summer Internship in Plant Biology provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to gain research experience in plant research laboratories. The interns will work side-by-side with graduate students or postdoctoral researchers, and they will learn various laboratory skills, research methods, and knowledge of plant biology and life science. In addition, interns will attend Friday seminars to learn about latest research findings. The program culminates in a poster session attended by all members of the department.
We invite applications from university undergraduates to participate as interns during summer. Internships correspond with the academic calendar and covers the summer period, generally from May through August/September. The positions offer flexible work hours and duration but with a target of a minimum of a 2 month internship. A list of DPB professors and their research interests can be found here.
