The Radiological Sciences Laboratory Research Experience for Undergraduates
The Radiological Sciences Laboratory (RSL) REU program is designed to give both an in-depth research experience on a particular topic, as well as a broad hands-on exposure to various areas of Biomedical Imaging.
The summer program runs 10 weeks from June to August and involves a 40 hour per week commitment. Lab work is complimented with weekly seminars on a range of imaging topics, bi-weekly how-to tutorials on scientific presentations and grad-school admissions, free lunches with faculty members, field trips and observational sessions, and social events. A $7500 stipend is offered to qualified applicants.
RSL students are drawn for a range of departments including BioE and EE - aspiring scientists interested in Biomedical Imaging are encouraged to apply. Non-Stanford students may apply for limited paid and unpaid internships.
Applications accepted starting December 16, 2019
