The Center for Asian Health Research and Education (CARE) at Stanford is offering an 8-week training program and internship in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Medical Technology. Highly motivated undergraduate students and post-baccalaureates who are interested in careers in medicine, data science, artificial intelligence or Asian Health are invited to apply. Exceptionally qualified high school students who are 18 years old by June 2020 will be considered. Tuition is $5,900. There is a $100 application fee.

The program will consist of a 1-week intensive bootcamp covering the basics of data science, machine learning and design thinking. The students will then form teams to work on  projects in the area of Asian Health with weekly meetings with faculty to review progress. Lectures will cover material equivalent to two undergraduate classes.
