Clinical Anatomy Summer Program
The two-week Clinical Anatomy Summer Program (CASP) is for high school students considering careers in procedure-based medical fields, such as surgery, dental surgery, EMTs/paramedics, and nursing. It may also be of interest to students who intend to study biomedical engineering, occupational or physical therapy, sports medicine, medical education or other health-related fields
In this course you will experience:
- Hands-on interactions with embalmed and human cadavers
- Student-led clinical case study presentations
- Surgical skills training: Instrument handling, suturing, tissue manipulation
- Surgical simulations on the same simulators used by Stanford’s surgical residents
There is a $25.00 application fee and upon acceptance a $4,250 course fee (a limited amount of financial aid may be available).
